My name is Anna Parsons, and I hail from Houston, Texas, where my husband and I live with our dogs.
Q: When did you know that you wanted to write?
A: I’ve enjoyed writing stories since I was a child. I still possess a very vivid imagination. When I was 11, I won a writing contest in my home town. The title of the piece was “Will a Woman Ever Become President?” Of course, I said yes.
Q: Why erotica?
A: That is squarely on my sister’s shoulder. She had coupons to attend a class that were about to expire, so she dragged me along. Sitting in the classroom, in an old-fashioned school desk, I almost fell over when the instructor wrote on the blackboard: “Sensual writing for couples.” She refused to make eye contact, so I stared a hole into the side of her head. As it turns out, I had more fun than I ever expected. I started writing the next day. Erotica is not what most people would expect from me, which made writing it that much more fun.
Q: Do you have a day job?
A: I hope to make writing my only job one day. For now, I work as an organizational psychologist, dealing with corporate issues and employee personalities. It is exciting and diverse, with no two days exactly alike. I hold degrees in business management and psychology. I think both will enhance my writing and the reader’s experience.
Q: Is there a theme or idea you’d like to work with?
A: There are so many ideas in my head! Supernatural phenomenon and creatures excite me. There is so much scope for the imagination, and many different avenues to explore. My next project involves sexy werewolves!
Q: Boxers or briefs?
A: I prefer for my sweetie to wear boxer briefs, the best of both worlds.
